Welcome to ARCH Library

Our Library, housed in the 15th floor Resource Centre, has current and historical resources on many disability-related issues important to people with disabilities, their families and advocates. The resources, available in print, video, DVD or web formats, may also interest ARCH community partners and researchers.

The resources cover topics such as:

  • disability law and policy
  • programs and services for  persons with disabilities
  • history of the disability rights movement
  • inclusion and equality rights in education, employment and society at large
  • community and independent living
  • advocacy and empowerment
  • safety and abuse prevention
  • accessibility and assistive technologies
  • practical guides for home, school, workplace and community
  • memoirs and experiences of persons with disabilities and their families

The collection includes a variety of perspectives and does not necessarily represent the views of ARCH Disability Law Centre.
