Fact Sheets on Interacting with Persons who Have a Disability

December 1, 2007

These fact sheets provide tips on how to interact with people in a manner that best accommodates their disability. Since each person’s disability and accommodation needs are unique, the tips are general information only.

These fact sheets were produced as a result of years of collaboration between ARCH and the Law Society of Upper Canada, and were updated by ARCH in December 2007. They are intended to be used by lawyers who have clients with disabilities, but contain information that may be useful to other professionals and members of the public.
